New & Used Cues for Shootin' or Collectin'

McDermott is our most popular selection of new cues.  So far, we have not found anyone on the net with better prices than ours.  Call or write for prices before you buy anywhere else.

For those that want to see, here are a few pictures of the nicest cue the McDermott company has ever made; the M6-9A Clover Cue.  Hand Spliced Birdseye Maple Forearm, Ebony Butt & Points, 3 Veneers, Bushka Rings at A, B, C, D, & E.

• On the Left:  The ORIGINAL Prototype (first one made).  Irish Linen Wrap.  Notice that on the prototype, the green sections of the rings are wider than the white sections.  On all of the others, the white sections are wider than the green.

• In the Center:  Cue # AP1 (Artist Proof).  The stain is much darker and has a McDermott I-3 Shaft with matching rings.

• On the Right: One of the 100 Limited Editions (#13).  Irish Linen (White with Green).

I am very happy to be able to say I designed this cue!  It took two years to get the design together the way I wanted.  McDermott made it, and in five days, it went to Cue of the Year, and one of the key McDermott persons told me this cue is now considered the nicest cue they have ever made.

The M69A Clover Cue #30 has been sold.  I have since added #13 to my personal collection.  Special Thanks to Phinmole of www.phinmole.com for his help in getting this cue for me.

Before talking to McDermott, I took this design to Dale Perry of Orange Park.  He liked my design, but changed a few things before making the cue shown with the white clovers.  Then, a year later, we went back to the drawing board and did the one with green clovers.  Two Beautiful Cues!

Sold Meucci HOF-7 in very good to excellent condition.  It has been used, but apparently not very much.

The shaft with the cue when I got it was not the original; the joint matches but not the rings.  It is included with the cue and can be sold as an extra shaft (not pictured).

The shaft with white ring is brand new and has been chalked & test hit less than one rack of balls.  The other shaft with matching red ring (see photo) is brand new and never chalked or hit.

$425.00 for Cue, all three shafts and Shipping & Insurance in the states.

Note about the HOF-7:  The Dragon Slayer is a re-make of the Meucci cue made for David Howard called the Giant Killer.  When David was shooting competition in the 80s, he was one of the most dangerous on the pro tour.  His being small in size made no difference on the pool table and he defeated giant after giant earning him the nickname of Giant Killer.  The cue made in his honor was named the Giant Killer.

Some of the differences in the Giant Killer and the Dragon Slayer cues:

1. GK has Ivory Shield inlays and the DS has wood.

2. GK has David Howard's name on the bottom of the cue.

3. Obviously the value of the GK cue is more than the DS.
