Looks like we have a pathetic trouble-maker trying to invade the guestbook, friends. Hey, kiddo, how is WebTV treating you? The joys of having a trace on anonymous cowards who have no better entertainment than to write stupid notes in public places.

Anyway, the guestbook is going to be down a little bit while I make the necessary adjustments to deal with this bored child. We'll be back up soon. :)

Who needs Frank or Tony? There is no one that can quite compare to the Great M.C.! In the Bible the Archangel's name is Michael. Imagine that, an angel named Michael! Who would have thought! Our guy is simply the greatest and that is about all that can be said about that. So to Ol' Blue Eyes, sorry, there's a new guy in town. Shall we call him Sweet Blue Eyes? To the Great M.C., keep up the fantastic work! Thanks for everything! P.S. Red-heads rule! Love Ya! Philyra

God Bless you and keep up the good work!

Thanks for creating such a great web site!
I have been a Michael fan since the London Phantom, and
I treasure the few times I have seen and met him. I recently
got married and our first dance was to Michael singing Unexpencted
Song. I had played it to Bill and he loved it as much as I did
and insisted we use it as our first dance since we couldn't
have it sung in the wedding.
Thanks again
(PS I too quit MCIFA about a year ago, for reasons too leagthy
to go into. I get my MC fix from your informative site!)

Hi! I am so glad to learn that I am not alone in my obssesion with M.C.!
I saw "The Phantom of the Opera" for the first time when I was fifteen. I'm almost twenty-one now and I'm still possesed!
It left me trembling after the first act the first time because of the story and the beauty of the singer's voices! Micheal rules above all singers (including myself).
DOWN WITH TRAVOLTA!!!!!!!!!!!! PUT MICHEAL IN!!!!!!!!! See ya gang!

Hi everybody! This page rocks and Michael is the best! His voice is perfection personified, or something like that. Krista, sorry you're having trouble with the MCIFA. Although I'm a devoted member of the club, and probably always will be, just wanted to say that there's no hard feelings and you're always welcome to come back if you have a change of heart (probably not likely, but just in case) And person who goes by Loyal Fan, wow! You're really devoted. But you two need to agree to disagree. It's good that you're both standing up for what you believe in, but sheesh, you know? Sorry. I'm counseling again. Anyway, Michael rules the world and always will and no other Phantom can compare to him, especially not John Travolta (that little stink bomb) I'd better go. BUH-BYE!
P.S. I wrote to Michael and he wrote me back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE MICHAEL CRAWFORD!!!!! I've followed his career ever since his voice "possessed" me in Autumn 1990. I found his voice to be that of a True Angel, ..... he spoke to me in such a way that I became obsessed with "Phantom", and everyone knew I loved that show to the fullest. I met him backstage when he was on Regis & Kathie Lee 4 years ago, September. He truly is my HERO, for he lifts my spirits when I am low, and raises me higher when I feel wonderful. He's the best, and I shall carry him in my memory for all time.....he is my Angel of Music who takes me to places beyond reality (true fans know what I mean, right?).
...and isn't this the coolest site you've ever seen?
Thanks for everything!

Loyal Fan,

First off, I don't see what your problem is, I agree that people should make their own judgements of the MCIFA. Krista has had a bad experience with them and has a right to let that be known. Unless you know MC personally, which I will make no judgement on, you have no way of knowing if he's ever visited this site. Just as you also wouldn't know what MC's opinion of the MCIFA is. And it's apparent that you want people join the MCIFA just because of your "one sided story" about how he's 100% behind it. Practice what you preach my friend, and maybe you won't look like such an idiot in the future.

Gambit <gambig@lightspeed.net>

To Loyal Fan:

I would not say that Michael has not visited this site. You cannot besure what Michael has seen on the internet. I happen to know he is well aware of this site and has seen portions of it. Maybe not directly on-line, but in print.

Thank you, Loyal Fan, for your message to those of us on Krista's site. May I say that I agree with you totally that we should all judge from our own experience. Our experience here, and elsewhere, tells us that we hope Krista's beautiful site goes on forever and ever, without censorship.

I think your "essay" is obviously the frustrated venom of a neglected fan, who is jealous of the fact that Michael is, in fact, in touch with the powers that be at the MCIFA. The sad fact is, Michael has never visited your site and probably never will. I've worked with MC, and know that he feels that the MCIFA is doing a wonderful job, and is 100% supportive of them. It's unfortunate that so many people will have been misled by the one-sided story you tell here. I can only advise people to judge the MCIFA by their own experiences with them.

I have Never Seen Mr. Crawford as "The Phantom". I first Became
Aware of Mr.Crawford when He did A Christmas Special here in Vancouver,
He Sand "O Holy Night" and I was Hooked, He Made that Christmas Carol come
So much to Life, No other Singer has Sung That Carol so, No one can Sing It A good!
I have seen The Toronto "Pantom" but nothing Can Compare to Mr. Crawford's Phantom!
He Has an Incredible Voice, No matter whether he is Singing Andrew Lloyd Webber's
Music or Other Songs!
I hope he Comes to Toronto Sometime, it would be Incredible to See such a English Talent
As Mr. Crawford!

Wow! I just saw "Phantom" for the first time about a month ago in a local play. The actor was good...Well, I soon got the cd of the original cast. I cried the first time I heard the cd... I cried more than I did in the theatre (my bf kept asking what was wrong. Wasn't he watchin!!!). It was perfect! I kept talking about it, urging my friends to go out and buy the cd. Then, I came upon this page. It is a WONDERFUL tribute to everyone's phantom...

Hello everybody! I just saw Phantom in LA last week and I have never cried so hard in my life. I think the people around me thought I was having a ceasure. Oh well. Ron Bohmer played Mr. of the Opera, and although he was incredible, I would have died to see Michael do it. I really really really hope he'll be in the movie! I'd better go. Oh by the way, I had a dream that Michael married my sister. It sucked. I got really jealous. I'm sure you'll all sleep better tonight knowing that. Ta-ta, I'll try to write later, love you forever and a day, Michael!

I was most interested in your comments about not renewing your M.C.I.F.A. membership. I too have been frustrated, and

just not going in a direction that appeals to me.

I do not have my own internet, but I enjoy reviewing others.
I have been an MC phanatic since I bought a record in early
1987, hit or miss, because I like ALW. I knew of MC in the
'60s when I saw A FUNNY THING HAPPEN ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM
and HELLO DOLLY!, but was not impressed.

I have seen him on various occasions in POTO (Los Angeles),
and The MUSIC OF ALW. He enchanted me with the first notes
he sang in POTO. More importantly, he enchanted me with his
gracious concern for others. I will never forget the time
when Margaret, the stagedoor security, was trying to close
him inside the door. (Regardless of his health concerns, he
gives all to his fans.) Before she could close the door, he
raced up the steps and gave a peck on the check of an
invalid girl, then raced behind the stagedoor. He never saw
the tears well in her eyes nor the flush on her cheeks. I
listened to her inspiring reverence as I followed her to the
parking lot. I had tears, too. And I will never forget how
he graciously met an kind-hearted elderly friend of mine who
has experienced few kindnesses in her life.

If others can send me like stories, I would appreciate any
sent to 235c Burton Mesa.

Thank you for the page. Thank you Mr Crawford for being a
rare to find role model

I' d just like to say that I love musicals, including one of my favorites "Phantom of the Opera" I've seen it twice. Once in Boston and last night in Tampa(W/ Brad Little).
Thanks for starting something great. I simply adore your voice. Ising the songs from Phantom everyday, and one day I'm gonna be on stage----God willing. Anyways, I'll stop babbling-------THANKS!

I have been a dedicated michael crawford fan for a good
6 years now. I am 24 years old. I am a performer in Branson, Mo. I have been singing for about 14 years now.
And I have been told that I have a voice that sounds like
Michael. I want to thank Michael for being there when I needed him most. Right before a concert. :o) I would
listen to Michael, right before I would go up on stage, and his voice would encourage me to do better. It would be an honor to sign this guest book.

This is the coolest! I mean, I've always loved MC ever since I first heard Phantom, but I never dreamed their were this many others "phanatics"! Michael's music is the best "close your eyes and sway" music that I've ever heard. I'm going to see Phantom in NY, but it won't be the same without Michael! I love you, Michael! I dreamed you sang Phantom at my wedding! (I'm not married, but still...) You are the most soulfull singer I have ever heard. Keep the phantom of the opera inside your mind.

I just got done watching "A Touch of Music in the Night".
What a great movie! It made my heart skip a beat when
he sang Music of the Night. He seems like such a great
guy and rolemodel. I've looked up to him ever since I
learned about him. I try to think of him when I do
things because I tell myself that Mr. Crawford would
probably try hard so I will. It's worked. His voice
is great but only because he works so hard to be
successful and it has worked. Everybody adores and
not to mention he's good looking
and has a smile that could knock you down.Anyway, I
was visiting Krista's great website(I love your

Hi everybody. I wrote a little while ago but I was on cloud nine and ended up saying a bunch of jibberish. Let me try again. I'm just insanely obsessed with Michael and I need somebody to chat with about him (my family is anti-crawford, I'm trying to convert them) I'm writing from a friend's computer cause I'm not on-line, so my address is as follows:

If anyone could write I would love you forever. I hope I can get back on and chat sometime! I love you forever Michael and I even named my teddy bear after you! (sad)

Mr. Crawford. All I can say is that I got hooked on the Phantom
first. I was sick for a week and my Grandmother got me the
tapes for the Phantom of the Opera. I listened to them over
and over and just fell in love. This is when I was in high
school in the late 80's. Then my Grandmother and I and two
of my cousins drove across country to California from Florida.
During the trip we stopped one evening and was watching t.v.
and a clip of the Phantom and I was really caught since then.
While I was in the Army, the Phantom was playing at home when
i was stationed in Kentucky and she bought tickets and my plane
fare home and I was on cloud nine. It wasn't you, obviously,
but the gentleman who played him, Kevin Grey, was great too.
But you did come down to the Broward Center for the Performing
Arts to do the Music of Andrew Lloyd Weber. Once again my
grandmother and I were there and I was loving it. And you
were funny and we didn't know that you were. I have a friend
from England that knew you were funny but not that you were
a singer. But I love everything that you do. Barnum, Cornelius,
twice funny enough: "Holly Dolly" and "Once Upon a Forrest".
When I found out that you did that and sung in it too...
Now I own it, with quite a few other cartoon movies. Well,
I guess that I just wanted to let you know how much I
appreciate you and your work. Thank you for your time.

Hello, Michael!
Hey, Krista!
I finally got to see "The Phantom of the Opera" and it was
"phenom"! I really, really, really wished that Michael was
the Phantom.
It would really make my life happier if, Michael was the
Phantom again.
Because, Michael you are "phenom!" and you are the true
King of Phantoms. And no one can or will take your place.
And Sarah Brightman is the Queen of Christine's.
I hope Michael's Bravo Biography will come back.
I hope you get more photo's of Michael, cause he's drop dead

Really like your Michael Crawford home page! I especially like the way you give dates for when each single page has been updated - something I'd eventually like to add to my home page "Gateway to Broadway" (St. Louis Musical's Home Page).
After being a long-time fan of Michael Crawford, I was fortunate enough to finally get to see him in a show! I saw him in EFX in Las Vegas (less than a month before his injury). He was fabulous! Looking forward to his next solo album!

Jeff, Will you marry me? (Since it's obvious I can't have my first pick--MICHAEL!) I couldn't agree with you more! It's too bad we can't find that bliss and happiness in ourselves with musicals more often. The magic that's around us and in each one of us is ignited by Michael, not bloody violence! We're not helping ourselves any. Well, before this becomes a chat show, I'll depart!

I've never seen MC in a show live, always on video--But I got to tell you, he's always entertained me. I was watching "Hello Dolly" and his Cornelius Hackl still cracks me up to this day. Hilarious! I read in your biography that "Hello Dolly" bombed. This surprised me. Although I wasn't born when the movie was released, I can't see how a movie that great could be overlooked. We need more musicals in our mainstream films today. The dancing and singing will raise our spirits from the otherwise very violent, bloody, and basically dumb movies that are ever so prevalent today. And certainly Mr. Crawford is one of those spirit raisers that wows us. Splendid web site!!

This from an aussie in New Zealand: you've done a fantastic job, Krista! So much info about everything, lots of things I haven't seen before. MC is fantastic, I've been a fan since I was 11. I'm 18 and a BMusic student at university which sucks because they all HATE Lloyd Webber: it's a great small world of elitists. Closest I evr got to MC was NOT going to a MALW concert in Perth when I was 12. My mother wouldn't buy me a ticket. My consolation: I sang as a soloist at an awards evening on the same stage he sang on six months later! how excitement. I never saw MC as the Phantom, like many Antipodeans I can't afford to flit off to England or the USA whenever he's there. I have seen the video clip. And I saw POTO once in Melbourne in '93 and twice in Auckland '97, both times with Rob Guest who is an AMAZING Phantom. He runs a very close third to Anthony Warlow and, of course, our own Michael Crawford.

Sorry I can't remember my email address since it is new. I normally go to university in Las Vegas but I am on an exchange program this year in England and it is great because I am 1 half an hour away from London where I can see all the musicals! You can buy tickets for as little as 8.50 pounds in advance, and less if you buy them the day of the performance! I will of course be seeing POTO again. I was alarmed to read about the Travolta rumor. Well, if they can cast Madonna as Evita, then.. What a bummer it could be to have Travolta as the phantom! What is he going to do..the hand jive?! How lame. I hope Michael does some other show again. I went to the Grand Gathering in Vegas for the MCIFA but he did not come, everyone was devastated. I wonder where he is right now...

Michael I just want to say that you are a true actor, singer, and dancer.
I have loved you since I was 7 or 8. I haven't seen you perform.
But at least, I got to see you on Bravo. I really enjoyed it.
I am happy your better now and I hope you contiune to be better.
I am also happy your daughter Emma had a boy. I'll bet he looks like you.
I hope you live for a long, long, long time. Cause without you,
I wouldn't take singing lessons or anything. I hope you'll get
the part of the Phatom. Because you are the rightful owner of the mask.
I want to become an actress(singer too). And if I become one,
I dedicate all my performances to you. I wish health and good luck to
you and your family. Krista, wonderful page!!
Love you Michael!

I have put this site on my "Favourite Places" list.... It's wonderful!! :) I have been a fan of Mr. Crawford's for about four years, now. (I know... I'm a 'newbie') :) I think he is absolutely wonderful! He is kind, caring, giving, warm, loving, sweet, intelligent, *very* attractive :), and his voice is.... amazing, I think is the word....
Well, I must be off... If anyone would like to chat, please e-mail me. (and if you happen to be Mr. Crawford, *please* e-mail me!!) :)

I just saw Bravo's The Fantasic World of Michael Crawford! I was giggling through out the whole thing, with girlish delight. My parents even watched it with me. My mom now sees why I love him so much. The last thing they did was to show what the cast and crew of EFX did for his birthday. It was hilarious! Michael was in his dressing gown, slacks, and no shirt on, with the gown untied! It was just about as good as the time when I had to change in the guys dressing room for King and I. If you want details (Here comes the e-mail from every girl in here)E-mail me. Sorry for exposing you so rudely Michael.

This is my first time signing, but definitely NOT my first time on this page. I adore Michael, and have been coming here practically every day since I found this page!! As to the reports on the gossip page, that Michael might be the villian in a Beauty and the Beast video, I got my newest DISNEY CATALOG today, and this is what it said: This magical tale reveals a Christmas past where Belle vows to warm the Beast's castle with the spirit and hope of the season. She asks all the Enchanted Objects to chip in, but first they must undo the plans of Forte, an evil plotting pipe organ. Keep, in mind, this doesn't mean that Michael will actually be playing Forte, but since it's been right so far, there's a good chance. THere are songs, if Michael is in it, he probably sings. The movie is, "Beauty and the Beast, The Enchanted Christmas," and it comes out in November. Just thought you might like to know! Incredible job on the page, Krista! If anyone out the wants to e-mail me, please do! I think I already left my adress, but just in case it's FARLEY@NETWURX.NET. Hey, I'm new to this, alright!

Ever since I bought a Webber cd with Michael on it, I've been completely entranced by his voice, which still to this day inspires my voice. When I hear him sing, I'm filled with an enchantment that no one has ever filled me with before. He is the only one that has ever made me weep when singing or tremble at the sound of his voice. I gladly sink into his voice whenever I need comforting or reasurance. Though all my friends think me very strange for doing this, I ignore their comments of "It's not healthy to be obsessed," and "Kim, stop living in a dream world". His voice offers a hiding place from all troubles and worries. I no longer dread the hours of time I spend by myself, as long as I have his voice there, a cd player, my Webber anthology, and my piano. When he's cd are not playing, I wish only to sleep, for I know that in my dreams, I will hear his voice again.
We love you Michael. Your voice, warmth, and kindness have touched so many hearts. We pity the new generations that will never hear the greatest singer of all times. Please, continue to keep good health, so we may have you around us as long as possible. When you die, Erik dies too.

"None of us can choose where we will love." ~~Erik

Kim

I was about 5 years old when I first heard "The Phantom of the Opera". I was very intriuged with it even at that age. I now take voice lessons and I am begginning to sing "Wishing You were Somehow here Again" and "Think of Me". Thank you Michael for the incouragement you gave me to start taking voice lessons. I never knew I had a voice until I started going to Rochester Acadamy of Performing Arts, where Lynne Granander is my voice and piano teacher.

I have been a fan for four years now. It was because of Michael Crawford that I decided to go into musical theater.
I plan to study musical theater in college with hopes of being on Broadway some day.
I just found out that a phantom movie may come out in the future. I would be very unhappy if Michael did not get
the role of the Phantom in the movie. When people think of the musical, they almost always think of Michael. To
me Michael is "the angel of music".

Michael Crawford is one of the most talented entertainers I have ever heard! I absolutely loved his OLC recording of Phantom of the Opera. He's THE Phantom and by the way, he is the ONLY one for the movie! I also enjoyed his extremely funny portrayal of Cornelius Hackl in "Hello, Dolly!". Michael Crawford is a wonderful human being. Not because of his good looks, his amazing voice, fast feet, and the ability to make us laugh and cry. Though these are wonderful things, the thing that truly makes Michael the person he is, is his heart. He is the most loving, kind, and gentle man. He truly cares about people and betters the lives of others. This is what makes him great.

Now that I've discovered Krista's MC page, do you think I will ever get any work done?
A quick MC story - on my way to do some banking for work (May 1992), I checked out a limo outside the Sheraton Wentworth Hotel in Sydney, and out hopped MC himself. Needless to say, I went weak at the knees, and all the bank staff thought I was crazy!
Ended up sending him a fax (how daggy) and got a wonderful autographed photo back in the mail.

I have this big dream, well, that can never be real, but it is to be christine daae, and actually go on stage. is that dumb to think that?

I have seen Phantom six times, but have never seen it with you! Also, I have met many performers and I'm hoping to add you to the list! The guys at the Majestic are really friendly! Keep working on that new album of yours! (One last thing: Will you go steady with me?)

I am a very big fan of Mr. Crawford the one and only Phantom. I just finally saw the play in Toronto and the person who played the part was great but the one who made me want to go was Mr. Crawford. I also remember him with Barbara in Hello Dolly and in school had the pleasure of playing Erminegard. I am a professional singer and would love to meet Mr. Crawford in person someday!!!!!

With all the rumors about John Travolta getting the role of the Phantom in Warner Bros. movie, I wonder if anybody has thought about who would play the role of Christine. Would it be one of the many sopranos who have sung the role on stage, or would it be a Hollywood *name*? Does anybody have any ideas about who in Hollywood would be young enough and could hit the high notes?

Michael:
I have been praying so that your hip will heal. I'm entering my junior year in high school this fall and I will look forward to looking for your new album! You are my "Hero" and idol!
God Bless!
(Also, I saw the revival of "Forum" with Nathan Lane. You did a lot better than the "Hero" I saw! Zero and Phil were one of the most funniest comedians!
Love: Jenn
