Obituary:

Francis B. Henry, 55, of S. Canfield-Niles Road, Canfield Township, vice president and secretary of Superior Industries Inc. at 3786 Oakwood Ave., died of cancer at 6 p.m. Sunday at his residence following a six-month illness.

Mr. Henry was promoted from production manager to vice president and general manager in 1961.  He became production manager in 1957 and had served the company over 20 years.

A resident of Canfield most of his life, Mr. Henry was past vice president of the Mill Creek Kiwanis Club, past commodore of the Berlin Yacht Club, Fleet Captain of Flying Scot Fleet 19 and a member of Argus Lodge, American Electro-Platers Association, Flying Scot Sailing Association and Canfield United Methodist Church.

Mr. Henry was born Oct. 5 1913, in Westfield, Mass., a son of John and Margaret Byers Henry.  He attended South High School and was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Army.

Besides his wife, the former Lucille Guillerey, whom he married Jan. 10, 1941, he leaves two sons, James of Austintown and John of New Castle, Pa.; two daughters, Miss Nadine and Miss Nancy, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Weaver of Austintown; two brothers, F.J. Henry and John Henry, both of Canfield, and two grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.  The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
