ANNA M. GREGGS

Coming as a shock to a wide circle of friends throughout the city is the death of Anna M. Greggs, a widely-known young woman of the East Side of the city, which occurred at 8:30 o'clock Wednesday evening in the family home, 23 South Garland avenue. Death followed at ten day's illness of bronchial asthma.

Miss Greggs was born in Wheatland, Pa., the daughter of John W. and Carrie Fair Greggs. When a child she came to this city with her parents, where she lived for the last 22 years. She received her early education in the local schools and since childhood had been a consistent and loyal member of the Tabernacle United Presbyterian Church, where she regularly attended services and took an active part in church affairs. For the last four years she had been employed in the toilet goods department at the C. M. McKelvey Company's store, where her cheerful disposition and the efficient service which she rendered had endeared her to thousands of people in the city. She was an ideal daughter.

Surviving with her parents are the following brother and sisters: Mrs. E. L. Courtney and Raymond Greggs at home, and Mrs. Marcel Gullery of this city. Miss Greggs was a member of the P. H. C. and the Daughters of the Veterans.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the residence. The Rev. John Heslip will officiate. - Youngstown Vindicator.
