Reloading Safety Tips
General
Do not smoke or use spark-producing tools while reloading.
Always use eye protection when reloading.
Do not try to load when distracted. No TV, radio, family "discussions", etc.
Process
Establish a routine for reloading. It will produce greater consistency and less chance of error.
If you are using a single stage press, do each step to the entire lot before moving on to the next step.
Start all loads at or around minimum.
If no signs of over pressure (bulged cases, flattened primers, etc.) are evident, begin "working up" your load.
If you change one of your components, restart the "working up" process. Do not assume substitutions are equivalent.
Check weight of thrown charges frequently. Settings can sometimes change accidentally.
