The Time: 1:00 pm til 6:00 pm
The Place: Stonecrest Community Center located in Central Florida. (SEE MAP BELOW).
The Cost: $20 per person which includes snacks, beer, wine, pop, coffee, buffet dinner of Prime Rib, Salmon, potatoes, vegetables, rolls and dessert. We ask anyone to bring old CFD pictures.
For those that would like to stay over, we have arranged accommodations at two local Motels. The most reasonable and closest is the LaHacienda Hotel in the Villages. If we have 10 or more rooms filled the cost is $69.87 for a king or two queen beds. Price includes tax. The Hotel is only about a mile from Stonecrest and is located next to The Holiday Inn Express. They offer a continental breakfast and balconies for smoking. The phone number is 352-750-6863. Tell them you are with the CFD and Karla will take care of you.
The Microtel Inn of Lady Lake is the other . They offer 1 queen bed for $65.49, or 2 double beds for $76.59, or a suite for $87.69. Prices include tax. They do have a breakfast buffet and a meeting room for use after the Reunion. It is located about 5 miles south of Stonecrest on US 27/441. You will need to call them directly to get the special rates. The phone number is 1-352-259-0184, Tell them you are with the Cincinnati Firefighters group and they will take care of you. You are invited to join the group for Dinner on Saturday Night at Stonecrest.
CALL EITHER MOTEL ASAP AS THEY BOTH FILL UP DURING “THE SEASON”.
If you are an RV’er we have made special arrangements for you at The Blue Parrot RV Resort. They are on RT 25 in Lady Lake and the rate is $28.80 per night plus tax. Call them for reservations at 1-352-753-2026. Make reservations ASAP.
Another Resort is Southern Oaks RV Resort. They are located on US 27/441. The rate is $30.38 per night and with Passport America it is $15.19 per night tax is included. The phone number is 1-352-347-2550. Tell them you are with the CFD and they will take care of you. Again, tis the season so call early and make your reservations.
Again, this year, we are planning to have a golf scramble on Saturday, March 6th. It will be at Stonecrest Golf and Country Club. The cost is $50 per person which includes lunch at 11:30 am, 18 holes of golf with cart at 1:00 pm, prize money, closest to the pin, longest drive, a team skin game. Indicate on the return sheet if you would like to have dinner at The Stonecrest Country Club on Saturday.
