DOGBONE SHAPED CAKE

First, there is no pan shaped like a dogbone, so you must shape your own.
This is how:

NEEDED
Decorating bags
Kelly green food coloring
Sheet cake cardboard 19x14 inch #817020
234 grass tip
2 nine inch Heart-shaped cake pans of the same size. Or any sizes that coorespond in size to square pan.
1 eight inch square cake pan Or any sizes that coorespond in size to heart pans. Or sheet cake for longer bone.

(9" hearts with 8" square will work using about 2 1/2 boxes of cake mix).
Method:

TIP: For leftover cake pieces...Crumble leftover cake into your mixer bowl. Add melted Merckens white or milk chocolate coating and slowly beat to mix. Roll into balls and place on cookies, flatten and dip this in melted chocolate coating. Let stand on wax paper to set chocolate. This is also good on squares of cake then pour chocolate over all.

Can coordinate for several sizes according to amount of servings needed. You can even place this cake on a larger sheet cake, like 12 x 18. Decorate the sheet cake to correspond. Maybe make Kelly green "grass" using the 234 grass tip and add the tiny flower sprinkles or drop flowers in the grass.

Add a dogbone shaped cookie dipped in chocolate coating
You can use petal-shaped cookies for the flowers. Add dots of pink as shown.
Flower stems: Brown icing with tip 4
#67 green leaves.

DOGGY CUPCAKES

Very simple:
Ice cupcakes using canned chocolate icing.
Have the white icing thin consistancy and drop on the dots. Flatten using cornstarch on your finger so it won't stick to the icing. Or use tip 6 or 8 if you have that, with a pastry bag.
