This cake was done for a cake show. Thus the other cakes in the photo. Cake created by  Margie Moore....
Comments from Margie:   I won first place in Intermediate Division. I think I also won Best Of Show. Cant remember. Of course, I wouldn't have won a darn thing if I hadn't had one of the best Pro Icers known to the Decorating World of Sugar teach me a thing or two about a thing or two!   That is my favorite cake that I made. I used parchment paper and a fine ink marker to draw the notes on music paper. I also used gumpaste for the candelabra. I used a chocolate mold for the piano and an xacto knife to cut into the white chocolate for the keys.   I had my photo in the paper for making the cake too.

This is a 12 x 18 inch cake with an 8 inch 2-layer cake on top.
The piano is made in a chocolate mold.
Chocolate was poured on the top of the cake then the piano set in place.
I'm sorry the picture of the piano is not more clear. But it is very simple to make.

#731 chocolate 3-D piano:
To get the white 'keys', put the white chocolate on the keys using a 'squeezit mold painter' filled with melted white chocolate and a small decorating tip on the end.Tips are included with the s. bottle.
Once the white chocolate sets up, then fill the molds using milk chocolate...or dark, or whatever other flavor/color. CHILL in freezer until the piece is released from the mold. You can tell if it is by holding it up and looking at the bottom of the mold. Unmold the pieces over a towel so they don't crack from dropping them. Then using the squeezit mold painter with the color of candy for the overall mold, assemble the pieces.

Music notes in top border: pipe from tip 2 onto wax paper. You could make a template first if you wish. Very easy with your computer and copy/paste.

CAKE DECORATIONS:
Ice 12 x 18 inch cake white buttercream.
Have the 8" cake on a foil-covered 8" cardboard circle (covered both sides with foil!).
Place cut pieces of straws in the sheet cake where the 8" cake will be placed. The straws should be to the top of the cake, NOT to the top of the icing!
Press the 8" cardboard circle on the iced sheet cake for an imprint first.
Place a cut circle of plastic wrap on the circle so that when disassembled, the icing won't pull off the sheet cake.
Place the 8" cake atop the 12x18.
